The piece is a hardy board, with a wire wall-hanger on the rear (easily removed). This piece could also be used as a cutting board in the kitchen. DESCRIPTION: This master-crafted plaque is made of exceptionally strong and beautiful wood. All of the edges and surfaces are polished and smoothed to a glasslike texture. The oiling and finishing is expertly done, creating a work of art for any room in the home. The display side is cute and comical, with laugh-inspiring Minions in cartoonish poses. The Minion images are burned deeply into the wood. This decorative board is meant to serve as an inspiring wall-hanging / plaque, but it could certainly be used as a cutting board in the kitchen. (The picture hanger is easily removed from the rear by twisting-off the eyelet screws.) The rear of the board (near the base) has little rubberized feet to prevent scratches. The piece is made from laminated wood with a hard-wood veneer. The face and sides of the piece are finished with a rich "cherry" stain, coated with polyurethane. Depending on how the light hits the board it can appear more/less "reddish" colored -- the first picture has the most accurate lighting. The rear of the piece is painted matte black, coated with polyurethane. The piece measures approximately 22.5-inches wide and 14.5-inches tall. CONDITION: Newly crafted.
