This rustic Olive Wood cutting board features a live edge on one side and a square end. With beautiful grain patterns, this is a unique board perfect for practical use and as a showpiece. Monogram OR name engraving is included in the price, but is NOT required if you don't want this. If you would like, you may choose a monogram or to only have a name engraved (choose a font). Some monograms have a spot for a name in the middle, if you choose these monograms, please also choose a font as well and a name. Text must be provided EXACTLY as you want it displayed, as we are not responsible for improperly spelled text that is provided to us. Customized items can take up to 5 business days to ship out, but most are shipped in two to three days. Non-customized items typically ship in one to two business days. About Olivewood: Olivewood comes from the Olive Tree and is a hard and dense wood that takes many years to mature. Olive trees are native to the coastal Mediterranean Sea and they grow naturally as well as domestically cultivated in North Africa, Western Middle East, and Southern Europe, with the largest worldwide producers of Olives being Greece, Italy, Spain, and Morrocco. Though this tree is native to the Mediterranean, it is also grown in some southern U.S. States. Because of the Olive trees limitations in environment and long maturity time (50 to 75 years or more to fully mature), Olivewood tends to be a more expensive wood as compared to faster growing trees such as Pine, Cedar, Maple, or even Walnut. Here's a fun fact for you, the Olive Tree can live to be 300-600 years old, with the oldest known tree to be 2000 years old, and still bearing fruit, in Greece.
